ShapeShifter, PLEASE tell me you're not throwing in the towel yet. It seems that a lot of people on the official G-men board are. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE! (Am I in denial, or just trying to be optimistic?...)

So, 713 today...I wish I could be more excited, but it makes hard when we're in last place.

I hope Mo Alou isn't out for TOO long.

Lowry's starts tomorrow YES!

GO GIANTS!

::still has hope::

As a Brewers fan, I definitely see promise in my team, but we're so up and down it can get kind of frustrating. lol

We're a lot better than we were 3, 2, and even 1 year ago, though.

I never thought I'd be thanking the Yankees for anything but the more they beat the Mets the easier it'll be for the Braves now that they're .500.

I'm still getting used to a hitting team rather that a pitching one.

Freakin' Mets...geez.

All we need is two winning series back to back and things could be totally different for the rest for the summer.

I have full confidence in your Braves, Craig. They always seem to get it done somehow. I do agree with you though, about them being a hitting team rather than a pitching team. It's kinda like the bizzaro world.

On Bonds tying The Babe: It would of been nice for him to do it in Frisco, but doing it in Oakland is the next best place he could do it in. He got a very good reception and even did a curtain call and got an even bigger reception. Say what you will about the man, but 714 homeruns is whole shitload of knocks.

I didn't see it, but I heard that during the Yankees and Mets game when it actually happened, there was nothing but booing.

I'm really liking how the interleague play is really coming into play between the Yanks-Mets and Boston-Philly. It's like watching the playoffs where one team has to keep track of another.

um, no.

He was received very well.

ohhh wait, are you talking about the Yankee/Met fans started booing at their game when they found out? If so, that's not surprising. But put him in a Yankee/Met uni and they'll be on his jock. heh.

I'm in the middle of watching one of the best games of the year.

Mets and Phillies going at it tooth and nail.

Phillies had a 4 run lead and a three run lead and blew it.

It is now tied going to the bottom of the 16th inning.

This Philly pitcher Ryan Madson has been amazing.

7 shutout innings in RELIEF!

You couldn't ask for a better game because both teams are fighting for first place in the NL East. Mets are currently up by 3 games, but Philly has been fighting to stay with them.

This is going to be one hell of a season series to watch especially with the history of Billy Wagner with the Phils.

And just like that, Carlos Beltran wins the game with a homerun!

Let's play two!

Wow. What a night it was. Yay Beltran!!

Kaz Matsui is a waste of a player. Every time he gets up to bat, he has a chance to fail. And he does every time.
