Hey Li-Wern! How's that course going? Hope that all is going great for you! Um, I quit working at the MedSchool (cos it sucked the BIG, HUGE, banana) in May, booked a flight to the UK the next day, and moved to Edinburgh 2 weeks later. Nothing like spontenaity to refresh life. The MedSchool admin lazy monkeys don't update that photo board very often so I'm not surprised I'm still up there.
So I'm living with a Scottish girl in a comfy flat and working as a waitress in a posh indian restaurant and I get to eat yummmy curry all the time. I'm looking for a science job but being really picky about the jobs I apply for. But anyway, it's awesome here and I earn more money as a waitress here than I did doing science in NZ.

oh wow it sounds exciting. actually, a few months ago it was raining when i was walking to grafton, and i randomly met a girl who shared her umbrella with me...it just so happened that she worked in the same lab that you used to
i asked her to say hi (you were apparently still there at the time), but she might have forgotten...it was pretty random though haha.
umm the course is going okay. i picked three papers from the molmed/pathol dept this semester and i'm not really enjoying them for one reason or another..maybe they will get better. still trying to think what i should do next year.
