I'm in the same boat
I hate not being able to hear it when it's somewhere out there on the internet, though...and I don't like reading other people's judgments before listening to it because it affects my own. Oh well, too late.
Edit: Heh, well now that I've heard it, I thin it's gloriously pretty, and will grow on me more each time I listen to it. My first thought, though, was that it didn't sound like Evanescence at all. Not even the "new" Evanescence. I got a Mariah Carey/Sarah McLaughlan/Kelly Clarkson feel.
