this song has so much going for it

1. the lyrics are heart-wrenching

2. the phrasing and dynamics magnify the emotion a millionfold

3. i love the new techniques Amy uses...the whispers, the almost-sobs, that great trill

4. simple piano-vocal songs always get me...

this is just an absolutely brilliant song, and it's now my favorite out of everything Evanescence has done
