I just found this article:
Quote:
In order to fund what is going to be known as "The Wedding of the Century", goth-rocker Amy Lee has agreed to pose for Penthouse for $2.5 million.
We interviewed Ms. Lee moments after the photo shoot, which is an X-rated adaptation of the video to Evanescence's Chart Topping single "Call Me When You're Sober".
"I really like the Little Red Riding Hood theme", says Lee taking off her red patent leather thigh-high boots (which in some photos was all she was wearing), "so I insisted we use it for the shoot. This time I was glad we didn't have to use real wolves, because they upset my allergies." The photo shoot instead casts Lee as a red-lingerie clad dominatrix, holding the leash of some very well-toned male counterparts.
When asked why Lee chose to do the shoot, especially since it would alienate most of her fanbase, she simply stated that in order to have her dream wedding, it would be necessary to make sacrifices.
"I've always wanted a fabulous wedding", Lee states, "the kind of ostentatious ceremony that just puts everyone else to shame." Sources say Lee's dress alone will cost upwards of $600,000, with hundreds of yards of black lace, silk and leather.
"Besides", she continues "This really isn't that much of a stretch from the cover of Sweet Sacrifice", which is Evanescence's third single off their sophomore album 'The Open Door'.

"I'm sure my fans will come running back once they see the amazing wedding I'm going to have" Lee states. She acknowledges that in earlier interviews she stated she would never become the type of artist that uses sex to sell records. "I guess I've just grown up, and people want to see the grown-up Amy", she says, adding "I want to make as much money as possible while I'm young. Once I get married, I plan to stop making music, so I will have no income there. And then once I have kids, I will never be able to do a photo shoot like this again."
While Lee refused to confirm her wedding date, she did say it was about 2 years away, and remarked she would rush the release of two more albums in that time. "I've learned people will buy whatever I put out. So, I might as well milk it for all it's worth".
Hearing about Lee's sudden change of values, Evanescence fans took to the internet, blasting Lee in many of the Evanescence fan forums around the world. One ex-fan remarked "This is tragic. I used to look up to Amy as an inspiration. Now I have no one." Still another remarked "I tore down all 582 pictures of Amy I had in my room, and burned them in the back yard - along with all my Ev CD's and apparel."
While most of the fan community is distruaght over the news, some fans actually welcome the change. "I'll take as much Amy as I can get" remarked one, while another stated "I guess I won't have to use my imagination anymore".
Several fans launched online petitions to stop the photo shoot, while others decided to start a fund for the wedding. "If we can raise enough money for her dream wedding, she won't be forced to degrade herself like this", wrote one fan. But after 15 days the fund had a total of $1.18, and fans realized they were about to see more of Amy Lee than ever before.
But Lee continues to defend her actions "I do what I want. Some people agree, some people don't. I can't live my life according to what others expect. I will have my dream wedding, and right now that is all that matters. If I have to show some skin, it is totally worth it."
The issue of Penthouse is set to hit stands in April '07.
