i´d prefer darker layouts. they don´t have to be depressing but for me, lively colors and glittering wouldn´t fit to evboard... perhaps a "night-layout" or someting blurry?! a "winter-layout"?!
i´ll just give you some examples, what kind of style i would like:

no need to say that i like blue and grey actually i like red a lot but i didn´t find a nice picture with red in it. the classical red rose is a red rag to me - i hate red roses!
