*Sigh* Yeah. It's a pity the movie makers can't tell the difference between blue eyes and green....brown hair and black....sleek hair and bushy hair....normal teeth and two large front teeth…periwinkle-blue dress robes and a frilly pink dress…. Everyone just looks a slight on the wrong side in the movies for me. James and Lily look entirely too old. I've personally never seen two twenty-one year olds look like a middle-aged couple (okay, so maybe they don't look that old, but I'm ranting.). Perhaps they aged in the after-life. /sarcasm. Every time someone tells Harry he has Lily's eyes in the movies, I honestly want to stick a fork in their eyeballs. Because their eyes are obviously failing them anyway. It ticks me off to no end. Okay, so most aspects of the movies do, but I’m off topic….

As for the book, I was in awe. Jo seriously couldn't have given a better ending to the series. I was in tears the whole time I had the thing. I refused to open it past the title page for the longest time. And once I did, I cried a bucket. Then, the frequent times I cried during the book. (Lily and James' grave, Ron leaving, Dobby, Fred, Harry in Sirius' room, 'I open at the close', Remus and Tonks, and many others) Sirius has been my favorite character since the end of PoA, so I've been pretty much depressed since OotP. (Random side note: I hated the movie. They ruined his death and made him seem like a delusional arsehole.) Remus was my back-up favorite - my only hope at mild sanity - and then he died. I thought I'd have to be committed. If he'd been given an actual death scene, I'd seriously be in a padded room right now. I had to stop reading at that point and it took me a while to stop crying. It helped to get to see him so soon after it, though. And seeing Sirius! And James and Lily! That was, in my opinion, the absolute best scene out of the entire series. It was so beautiful. And, of course, I had to cry when I closed the book….

I'm still in denial. It hasn't hit me that it's over yet. And I'm hoping it won't hit me for a long while, because when it does….it won't be pretty.
