I didn't like neg rep. I found that I was getting some neg reps from people who simply disagreed with my opinion on a certain subject. I imagine some people here had the same thing happen to them.
If neg rep is reinstalled, members shouldn't be allowed to give it out, unless permitted by a mod. We could just report the post to a mod, and if the mod agrees, the member can give out neg rep to that person. If members are allowed to give out neg rep to whomever they please, many people will be getting it simply for voicing their opinions.

The ability to leave negative reps has already been reinstated for all members. So far, there hasn't been any problems with it. If someone abuses the system and leaves neg reps for no reason or simply for disagreeing with an opinion, then the person who receives it can speak to a mod about it and it will be dealt with.
