I've decided to post my lyrics on evboard, but I'm going to post each song seperately, as I would like each to be viewed seperately.
This is one that I have written, called Marketable Dreams. It's so far unfinished, but tell me what you think so far
Marketable Dreams
Billions of silver stars are falling,
falling down on cymbals crashing
Resounding with the band,
That is playing endlessly only for me
While I'm screaming, rasping:
"Is anybody listening?"
They're hearing,
Oh, but they're never really listening
They're just staring at the screen
As the blackness eats thier eyes
And they're singing without thinking,
belting out that toneless ringing
that only I can hear
Those bloody hornets won't stop
Burning in my ears
And when I swat them away
I just get blazing stares
I don't see anyone standing in my checkout line
Well, thats all that there is so far, like I said, unfinished.
