This is one of my questions about the horrific double standard that is Men vs. Women.

Why can guys do whatever the fuck they want to and get patted on the back by all their buddies? Example: a guy can go out, get shitfaced drunk, and sleep with three people in the same night, and it gets laughed about. If a girl does the same thing, she's a whore.

My most recent encounter with this...a friend of mine is coming to town in a couple days. I talked to him last week and told him I'd gone out to a bar Monday night, and he got so pissed off at me. To give him credit, he's smart enough not to TELL me what I can and cannot do, he just gets passive-aggressive about it: "I really wish you'd wait for me to get back...then we can go together...blah blah blah." And then two nights ago, he calls me at 1:45 AM, drunk as a skunk, just getting home from GUESS WHERE? The fucking bar. I called him on it and told him that if I have to stay home till we're together, then so does he. Asshole.

I've never been one to have gender-confusion issues, mind you, but sometimes I honestly believe life would be so much easier to deal with if one happens to have a penis.
