The card game you're thinking of is Miles Bourne. That game kicked ass.

I used to have an Atari 2600, Commodore64/128, NES and then I went straight to PC and didn't own another console until we bought my son an N64 and then the dreaded Wii.

I have emulators on my PC for the 2600, C64 and NES so I can play the old games and feel young again. There is a company you guys might want to check out...

They refit old controllers with USB interfaces so you can use them with your PC and an emulator. Playing NES games on a PC with an NES controller kicks ass.
