I think the first part should end when Harry, Ron, & Hermione are at Lovegood's house and Hermione's just finished reading aloud The Tale of the Three Brothers. Xenophilius Lovegood says "Well, there you have it. Those are the Deathly Hallows."

*fade to black, roll credits*

That particular scene is almost exactly halfway through the book, and it would make for an absolutely STELLAR cliffhanger ending to Part 1 of DH.

I think my favorite line in this whole book, the one I cried hardest at, was when Harry and Dumbledore were at Kings Cross. Harry's just about to leave to go back to his body and fight Voldemort, and he asks Dumbledore if it (being at Kings Cross) was real, or just happening in his head. And Dumbledore says "Of course it is all in your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it isn't real?" *sob*

I've spent the last month reading all 7 books in a row, and I am so incredibly sad and disappointed that it's over.
