This is a mushy love poem. I wrote it a while ago, but it's a favorite of my love poems. See, i have a brighter side!!!

Here I am;
Marveling over the beauty,
Admiring you,
Your lips moving,
The minuscule light from the window hitting you perfectly,
Defining you flawlessly,
And in that moment of perfection, as in any,
I’m completely overtaken
Without words as you lie breathlessly between my thighs,
I’ll hold onto this moment,
Until the clock glows mockingly at us through the darkness,
Still entranced by the subtle gleam of your skin,
The contours of your face, as traced by my fingers,
Your essence
And my skin will gleam back with the same light,
Fueled by the same oil,
Captivating and once again perfecting the moment,
Your voice leaving me in a state of contentment
Matching each word with the movement of your lips,
Absolute beauty
And here I am;
After all this time of admiration,
And I still can’t shut my eyes.
