yeah i've come to realize that i picked a good yet hard topic so heres my attempt

We give ourselves up
to a careless world
we strive to be our best
at everything we try
yet in the end what do we get?
nothing but loss.
you give yourself up
just to lose it all
so why sacrifice yourself?
to the unforgiving world
is it how you are raised?
are you taught to do it?
giving everything up
for some big dream
and in the end
what do you have to show?
that you missed the stars
that the dream is lost?
