I like this song! I like how you used the anagram thing. It's interesting and unique. I also got the same feeling of trying make people happy, and the feeling of putting on a show that, inevitably, is self-defeating.

For that stanza with the alternate ending - I think that "And you'll still be alone" sounds better and makes more sense there. I can hear this as a heavy, angry song - One I'd wanna jam out to in the car after a bad day.
