I think for admin purposes, to be left in the group that does not see ads, and has a larger mailbox and avatar size, there actually HAS to be a group name to go along with the user allowances.

No, there doesn't need to be a label. But KCMO was trying to give people on this board a chance to participate in the changes taking place. Perhaps you don't want the recoginition, but others might actually want a label under their name. Especially those that REALLY wanted to be a part of the PS forum but didn't get a chance. This was decided as the fairest thing for everyone.

We're damned if we do, damned if we don't. No matter what decisions are made by the mods, either with or without public vote beforehand, there are always people who are not going to be happy.
