Like Wildangel said, I'll also have to disagree. It's definitely not true that laptops are any slower; they're just more costly because they're more convenient, period.
My computer is a laptop and it's lovely. I never really carry mine any where, but the battery will last up to five or six hours if it's fully charged. I just keep it plugged in on my desk and hooked up to my printer. It's wonderful because it's so much smaller and portable compared to a PC. With my laptop, I don't have to worry about where to fit a monitor, speakers, keyboard, and CPU. It's like having a textbook on my desk, which can be easily slid into a corner, leaving ample space for work. Laptops are just more convenient and space-friendly.
But anyway, I'm thinking about how bored I am. What on earth am I going to do the rest of the day before I leave work? It's slow-going today and I've done a bit of browsing cars online, because I'll have to buy a new one in about a year or two, but not I've got nothing left to do. Well, actually, I just realized whether or not the pay-off for a hybrid is worth the money you'll save in gas. Perhaps I'll try to do the math right now. I was surprised at that only rarely have the batteries needed replacing after warranties expire, but still... I don't know whether or not the extra money is worth not having to fill up. Eh, I guess I'll go back to working on that.
