Um, forgiveness is a lesson you teach YOURSELF. Sometimes people hurt us, but revenge is not the way to "teach them a lesson" or put them in their place. You can only make yourself into a better person, and you should work on being the best person that you can be. That involves knowing when to forgive someone and move on and away from a bad situation.
