I have had an idea swirling around in my head and thought I would share it.

I thought I would just post my thought process here and you guys can let me know if a) it's totally lame or b) you might possibly be interested.

I don't have all the specifics worked out but if you like the idea I am welcome to suggestions.

Ok, so the basic idea is "The EvBoard Prom"

My thoughts are :

People can sign up in the "Prom" designated thread if they would like to attend.
They can solicite for a date in said thead or can choose to go stag. I thought it might be nice for people to ask people they don't know that well too.
The actual prom would happen in the chat room. People could either hang out in the lounge where they can dance, drink, whatever...or choose to private chat and get to know their date a little better.
The people who go stag can also choose to private chat.
I thought it might be fun for people to actually dress up for the event and post pictures of themselves looking fly.
When it's over people can post in the thread of the night's experiences or how well they got to know their date. XD

All in all I thought it just might be a fun way for people to get to know each other a little better. We can designate a prom/chat night well in advance so people can plan to take part.

If this is lame you can tell me, it's just something I thought might liven up the place.
