Please let me point out that there is (at least in my opinion) a world of difference between "misspeaking"--i.e. saying "leave" when you mean "lead"--and going totally FUBAR, i.e. talking about how FDR was doing fireside chats ON TELEVISION IN 1929?

Even an objective observer can tell the difference. Not like I'd be able to FIND an objective observer, but still. Palin misspoke, whereas Biden uber-failed.

This is a very easy slip of words. I can see that happening to a lot of people if they were speaking that same sentence.

But it's obviously funny taken into context.

Sooo...your fave milf has been determined guilty of abusing her powers as Alaskan governor. What do ya'll think about that one? She wont face charges (i dont think) as she didn't break the law, but it's not going to look good for McCains campaign. Any thoughts on this?

I really don't think McCain needs this right now, it's another nail in the coffin.

Yes, it was an "abuse" of power, but something she perfectly within her abilities to do under Alaskan law. It warrants no more discussion.

Oh I totally agree but I still find that to be a hilarious slip of tongue.

Clearly Biden had the bigger screw up. I would find it funny if McCain had pointed it out and then said - there were no tvs then. I know because I was there. Make fun of him being old.
