In Canada, the consentual age is 14, in which you can can have sexual intercouse, regardless of the age of the other party involved. The only time the 2 years of age apart comes into play, is if the person is under 14 but over 12, in which case the accused may not be commiting an offense if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the person. However, there are some exceptions, such as *coughanalcough* intercourse is not legal, and cannot be legally consented, under the age of 18, and I think that's just crazy.
