Erm, I can't reeeeaallly help you with your debate thing. I know about breaches of the Treaty that have to do with Health. Um. I guess you could say something about, how because Maori are now a minority group (in terms of ethnicity), a lot feel them feel they have to conform to Western society, and therefore as a side effect, lose their own culture.
But it also depends on how you define 'kiwi culture.' I think there's alot of aspects of both Western and Maori culture that have been combined to give us our special one-of-a-kind kiwi culture...but that's probably more an argument for the negative side...
Of course, I'm neither a debater or a specialist in cultures and sociology, so this could all be wrong...
