I've read both books, and they both came highly recommended from a friend. I read The Lovely Bones first, and it was so absorbing I could not put it down. I wrote about 3 stories inspired by that. It's a beautifully written story. I'm glad other people here have read it, I was going to start a thread on it myself but... here it is! Tazzy, I cried reading it too. Sometimes I just could not help it. I was always getting a bit frustrated whenever Mr Harvey got away, bastard.
Lucky is a bit... disturbing, at least the first chapter is. The rest of the book can be uplifting at times, strength of the human spirit... it's quite amazing.
