This is my "interpertation", heh, You have sunken into a monoton, sad world and at one point you start feeling nothing and you aren't affected by anything. Drenched in a depression that you can't break through, so you just become numb. You are woken up inside by someone or something and you realize that you've been sleeping on the inside. So you open your eyes and see again, for the first time in a long time. I think it is a lot about wanting to recover from depression or something terrible that happened.
