A plane carrying 50 english passengers and 50 french passengers is on it's way to france. The pilot has a heart attack while driving the plane and the plane crashes before the co pilot can take over. Tha plane crashes exactly half way to its destination. Where were the survivors buried?

A donkey is standing, tied by rope, exactly 5 meters away from a bale of hay. Without damaging the rope how can the donkey get to the bale of hay?

EDIT: I half remember one... but I don't know if this is the right wording,

Eve has two
Adam has none
Everyone has three
But in the whole of our planet, there's only one
