abrasive to the heart
flowers fade like the sun withers
your eyes shift
beautiful to disfigured
if heaven has a moon, let it be your illuminous smile
if the horizon blooms, your reflection spans for miles
even new seams can unravel
dry as the air we breathe

if all we are now is dreams

a smile to reflect the stars
if only to clear away clouds
through these enticing minutes
as they become hours
still frozen, if motionless
I am paralyzed
lucid as it is real
perfect with all flaws
to stare into stardust
watch the moon melt as it sets in your eyes
I fall into this sleep
as never when tomorrow becomes today
if ever, one day this dream will not fade away

this field filled with ash entails your eyes like embers
and you surround yourself in saphire
perfection was never so perfect
i would catch you, embrace the petals you walk upon
if the world was to end, this dream would remind me of how beautiful it ever was
if these days became lists of all the wishes never granted your name would establish when time began
i sit in selfishness, in solitude, in the ideal crevasse for one to die alone ...i sit with my thoughts of you, and faint smile of the unborn soul taken from a place it has never known
