Breathe no More (AbH version) is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. I just couldn't stop listening to it. Soooo wonderful. I really love when she sings "Lie to me": my heart breaks, it explodes because of the strong emotion.
I partly agree with Lisathewitch's interpretation. I think the two 'selves' are not her face and her soul, but two complete persons: the real one and the one she continuously lies herself she is (I hope you understand this sentence..). She's afraid to change because she fears the person she loves won't love her anymore. Maybe the line "yet again you refuse to drink like a stubborn child" is a sign of his refusal to accept a change, or it could be the real 'self' speaking to the false one. It's a bit confused and poetic because there are three characters in this situation and their relationships are so hard to understand, so fragile and so strong at the same time. I just think this lyrics is wonderful.
