What type of microphone are you using. and soundcard. Alot of quality issues rely on those things. I know my recordings sound decent on the home pc, but on the laptop they lack alot. even tho i'm using the same mic and program, the soundcard is different.

I use a mic/headphones combo that was about $45. I think it could be the soundcard because the place where I do all recordings is the laptop.The big computer is Cary's and he doesn't share well at all,lol.
I'm going to invest in a better soundcard here soon.
The quality of the recordings was not that big of deal to me really, it was more about just singing and having fun.
. I don't think my voice sounds that bad, just not as refined as it could and the recordings are a little crummy because I was too lazy to do all the editing necessary on the ends of them for the most part.
