All light fades away.
All my strength leaves me behind
in this cold space
(such a lonely place)
and no one is here,
only me...

In this darkness, this darkness,
where monsters are looking to feed,
I keep to myself and I pray
that they won't find me

All hope disappears.
So frigid my insides have grown
that my tears freeze

where pain won't let me leave,
where I can barely move,
where I can hardly scream.

Trapped inside my shivers,
trapped inside my head,
I can't escape myself,
I can't escape the dread.
As I surrender to my sorrow,
I must remember, then-
when darkness swallows up my world,
my light still shines within.
