Emotional Burn
The emotions within my body,
has been screaming for air,
for a chance to breathe.
You have given them that oxygen.
The torment I have been feeling,
has been burning in my gut like a wildfire,
that no one has extinguished.
You have become that water.
The sorrow I have experienced,
over losing a loving soul in my life,
has frozen my heart for eternity,
Until you began to melt it.
Until the day I die,
I am forever in your debt,
I owe you all of my life,
Will you allow it?
I want to keep you near me,
to keep me from being bitter and lonely,
to keep me from the stage of insanity.
Is that agreeable to you?
I've told myself to go slow, not to scare you away,
not to fall so fast for one I hardly know,
but with you I find it hard,
Don't keep me wondering what the future will hold.
My body yearns for your touch,
your soft lips against mine in passion,
our hands melding in to each other's perfectly,
You've had that wonderful effect on me.
I am a boy, standing in front of a man,
asking him to give me a chance,
to show him how I can love,
Will you give me that chance.
Your answer doesn't have to come soon,
I can wait until you are ready,
and hope you will too.
I, after all, don't want to drive you away from me.
Just know you have been asked,
by someone, who in a few short days,
