Thank you for finally allowing the misinformed and self-absorbed to roll off your shoulders. Their limited field of vision has taken a few conversations and used them to instill fear in you that shouldn't exit. Good job on trusting professional therapists' opinions instead of the words of wannabe shrinks. These people are the minority among facts that have been shared with many others. One of them was even caught lying about what you said. People who trust liars aren't exactly credible. Thank you for working things out with your girlfriend and becoming friends with certain people you used for your own personal gain beforehand. You do have a conscience and that drove you to stop your destructive ways. This led to finally coming to grips with your sadness and destroying what caused it.
