Thunder
Does the thunder at night still cause nightmares for you
even though I appear callous I think I still feel some of this
I just wish I knew it was all ok
What we did the night we were made
Cause the thunder still rings in my ears doesn’t really go away
It just hides away in the dark cold corner in my mind
How do you cope with what you went through
Finding peace some were far from here I hope
I cheated on the one I loved
You lost something more then just your innocents
We couldn’t have done it any other way
Our lives were on the rope
Gently walking across so we don’t fall off
But then we find at the end as we laugh
That the cannon still goes off
Rings the sound that will never go away
We kept our life only to find ruins at least it appears that way
