Post Morganna's Poems/Lyrics and the like

*read title*
i thought i'd start a thread in here specifically for my literary stuff *duh or i wouldnt be in here*, although i do have a mixed media thread.
On a quick note, whenever ive posted these, i've been critiscised for being far too depressing in my style of writing. However, these pieces of work were written specifically when i was having an extremely rough time of life and needed to express how i felt, so yes, they are depressing, but these are emotional and sometimes bitter pieces of work that came straight from the heart when i needed to release it most.

[[ a poem about bullying, me and mybest friends were being targetted in and out of school]]

*+* Revenge *+*
Smash your fist into my face
Snatch and pull my hair
Kick my legs and wrench my arms
I’ve gone beyond all care
Shout your names and your abuse,
Push me to the floor
Tear your nails right down my face,
Don’t hurt me anymore
Ignore the tears that fall again
And stream upon my face
Slit my wrists I’ll never care,
Remove me from this place
Beyond my grave, I will return
And put you through my hell
Soon it will be your well earned turn,
Oh I hope they knew you well!

[[ this poem was written about my uncle, who died lastyear ]]

*+* Walking with you *+*
Feet tread upon that narrow path
Waves crashing beside me
Thoughts are storming within my mind
Wild as that raging sea
My cheeks are wet with bitter tears
Please come home again
I hear you and I feel your presence
As I walk here, in the rain
Childhood memories, flooding back
All I hear is you
But as much as my heart burns inside
I have to fight this through
Walking past the old front door
I see your face once more
My eyes are blinded by my tears,
Feet trudge along the floor
I’ve seen you laugh; I’ve seen you smile
But all I do is cry
Remember those days we used to play
All I ask is why?
All I can do is pray again
And hope that you are free
You haven’t seen the pain you’ve caused
To everyone, and me
I close my eyes and yet again,
I see that dreaded hearse
I see the curtains close around you
Things are only getting worse
Please, let me know that you’re Ok
And that your peace is true
As I walk along the rainy pier
I know I’m walking here with you.

[[ another for my uncle ]]

*+* Sleepless night *+*
I lay awake in bed right now,
Robbed of any sleep
For all my broken heart contains
Is tears of sorrow that I weep
A cold breeze blows about my room
And whispers through my hair
A gentle touch upon my skin
Assures me that you’re there
But, alas, as winds blow calm,
Your presence retreats my cave
You leave me here, return once more
To sit upon your grave
My tears still fall on either cheek
My pleas are still my own
But silence can’t contain my thoughts,
Please, wont you come home?
Your birthday card lies on my board
Addressed to me, from you
And as I lay my head down now
I know you’ll guide me through

*+* Troubled eyes *+*
The burning flame of aching pain
The screaming tears the treacherous rain
She cries out, yet hears no sound
She knows this time she’s misery bound
The tearing heart, the twisted limbs
See the devil lye within
And she knows she can’t fight it
But she knows she can’t ride it out

Do you hear the screams and the thunder?
Do you see the fear and see the wonder?
Have you felt the blood and touched the rain?
Have you stood up or simply laid
In an early grave, filled with ice
Do you see the world through troubled eyes?

The flowing tears that stain her face
The hurt that stain our race
She tries to run, but trips and falls
She tries to hide away from it all
She steps out into the night
Frees her soul by eternal right
She lies, untouched, upon the floor,
Her pain and aching now no more

Do you hear the screams and the thunder?
Do you see the fear and see the wonder?
Have you felt the blood and touched the rain?
Have you stood up or simply laid
In an early grave, filled with ice
Do you see the world through troubled eyes?

[[this one i cried most at while i wrote it. it's about domestic violence >_<]]
*+* Help *+*

Screaming, clattering, crying shouting
Another day of violence mounting
I try to help, get pushed aside
Can’t bear to see the tears you’ve cried
I hear your cry, come running near
I meet once more my aching fears
A fist strikes out, the blood runs dry,
Plates are smashed, can’t help but cry
When it’s over, I know I won’t rest
I failed, though I tried my best
The morning dawns, I wake again
Yet it’s never been the same since then.

[[ inspired by Amy Lee in parts ]]

*+* lady of the black winter +*
Beneath an icy clock of stares
a fragile hand appears
"i'll wisp away your pain", she says
"i'll vanish bitter tears".
The lady of the black winter
appears on moonlit nights,
her black hair waves upon the wind
and blue eyes shining bright.
she holds a grasp upon your heart,
and grips it like a stone,
but all the while this lady's gone
you'll never feel alone.
The snowflakes crunch beneath her feet
with a whisper, she fades to white,
And the lady of this black winter
becomes the lady of the night.
