Age of Empires 3
I did a search and didnt find anything on this game, which is kind of strange I think. I bought the game tonight. It looks pretty much any AoE game with the addition of the card system which I think is rather ingenius. Reminds me of the card system that Risk has.
So I hereby proclaim this the Evboard AoE discussion thread. |

In my opinion that game is a discrase to the excellent AoE games. When I bought my computer I got a AoE 1 and I think it's still a great game. Offcourse I played AoE 2 and I think it's the best of those three series of the game. That's all from me, but don't belive me try playing it and see for yourself.

I'm afraid I don't have the "Age of Empires III", but I do have the "Age of Mythology" game, and my sister has "Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings". Both of those games are excellent. The graphics just keep getting better!
So, what do you think of the game you bought? I heard it got rave reviews. Have you started playing it yet? |

I love the Age of Kings! I have it at home. I like to make my own maps and have some all out war between a load of people.
Plus the actual game is really cool, you have to be really strategic or you get dead ![]() And I love the music!

I have mixed feelings about it. It is different than other AoE games, but then again the premise is a little bit different. They have a card system that acts like "shipments" from your homeland. Its an interesting feature but one that is going to take awhile to get to, and it can be distracting especially when you are looking at it cuz the game doesnt pause, and it leaves you open to attack while you are looking at the screen. |
