with the amount of training amy has had she should be losing her voice every 3 shows but she dosent she pulls it off better than most other women in rock. As for straining her voice SERIOUSLY, is she really going to let the people of Israel down after they have waited so long for evanescence I DONT THINK SO. the real rock spirit is to continue for the people in the audience and not just stop because your throats a bit sore , see thats what you people miss about amy, you underestimate her she is much more determined than you give her credit for.the people of Israel would much rather have had every song performed with bad vocals than there money back. You can hear the enthusiasm in the crowd. So stop this crap and HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO PRESERVE YOUR VOICE WHEN YOU DOING NEARLY NON STOP SHOWS FOR 9 MONTHS. WOW WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL THE OTHER WOMEN IN ROCK TO PRESERVE THEIR VOICE BECAUSE AMY HAS PUT IN A COMENDABLE EFFORT AND SHE WOULD LIKELY OUTLAST ALL OF THEM IF THEY HAD TO PERFORM THIS MUCH. OH one last thing sharon tried to strain aswell did you go blind for that part of the clip, she also tried singing it again but stuffed it, thats the show that i would have wanted my money back on. |

I think that you enjoy arguing.
The fact of the matter is that Amy performs inconstantly. The 2 shows I have seen in Australia were both fantastic, But I have many recordings of live shows that are shit house. Take for instance the whole rock am ring show in Germany 2003. That was crap. Then on the other hand, look at the acoustic Call me when your sober live clip from Pepsi smash, she was near pitch perfect.

How does she not pull it off better than other women in rock.
who pulls it off better than ha. People that actually appreciate her will be happy that she put in the effort. who does as many shows as amy without destroying there voice in that 9 months. Amy was never Broken she came back fine next show. Even perfect technique can not prevent you from loosing you voice over 9 months straight touring and plenty of opera singers end up with cysts. Sharon was taught by a proffessional opera singer for a while and she was apart of a choir for a couple of years and she cant even pull of a quater of the shows amy can without loosing her voice. Not to mention the strain of amy's belt compared to sharons light vocals COMPARE THAT. |

Also, metalman -- great point. I've heard some things where she sounds so good, it's amazing to think that she produced the same lackluster performances I hear at other times. It's really damaging to the potential she has to become a really GREAT singer. |

She does need vocal training and when she does get it i have no doubt she will go down in history as a very memorable singer. I just wish she would realise also, maybe she's to proud or she thinks that she will be fine without it? i think she might get a vocal coach after she's finished touring. |

But i think amy will want to improve and i think she has nearly reached 100% on her own merit without proper technique. there is only so far talent can bring you so im hoping she will decide or someone will tell her. |
