you and the others are always going off at people that make out amy's a god, but you have to single her out against all the other women in rock, so your also making her out to be a god if you have such perfect expectations.

with the amount of training amy has had she should be losing her voice every 3 shows but she dosent she pulls it off better than most other women in rock.

As for straining her voice SERIOUSLY, is she really going to let the people of Israel down after they have waited so long for evanescence I DONT THINK SO.

the real rock spirit is to continue for the people in the audience and not just stop because your throats a bit sore, see thats what you people miss about amy, you underestimate her she is much more determined than you give her credit for.

the people of Israel would much rather have had every song performed with bad vocals than there money back.
You can hear the enthusiasm in the crowd.

So stop this crap and HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO PRESERVE YOUR VOICE WHEN YOU DOING NEARLY NON STOP SHOWS FOR 9 MONTHS.

WOW WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL THE OTHER WOMEN IN ROCK TO PRESERVE THEIR VOICE BECAUSE AMY HAS PUT IN A COMENDABLE EFFORT AND SHE WOULD LIKELY OUTLAST ALL OF THEM IF THEY HAD TO PERFORM THIS MUCH.

OH one last thing sharon tried to strain aswell did you go blind for that part of the clip, she also tried singing it again but stuffed it, thats the show that i would have wanted my money back on.

I think that you enjoy arguing. The fact of the matter is that Amy performs inconstantly. The 2 shows I have seen in Australia were both fantastic, But I have many recordings of live shows that are shit house. Take for instance the whole rock am ring show in Germany 2003. That was crap. Then on the other hand, look at the acoustic Call me when your sober live clip from Pepsi smash, she was near pitch perfect.

No, she doesn't.

I imagine her entire fanbase is gonna be a bit let down when she can't sing at all anymore.

By singing correctly.

They do perform just as much and if things keep going as they are that's not going to happen.

Yeah she stuffed up and tried, but rather than pushing herself till she was broken she backed off, had a drink, stuffed up again but then she actually managed to pull of the rest of that set quite nicely.

How does she not pull it off better than other women in rock.

who pulls it off better than ha.

People that actually appreciate her will be happy that she put in the effort.

who does as many shows as amy without destroying there voice in that 9 months.

Amy was never Broken she came back fine next show.

Even perfect technique can not prevent you from loosing you voice over 9 months straight touring and plenty of opera singers end up with cysts.

Sharon was taught by a proffessional opera singer for a while and she was apart of a choir for a couple of years and she cant even pull of a quater of the shows amy can without loosing her voice.

Not to mention the strain of amy's belt compared to sharons light vocals COMPARE THAT.

I think that there are entire threads on evthreads imploring Amy to learn vocal technique. I'm sure that lots of people who love Amy would prefer that she takes care of her voice because that's what they love about her.

But it could reduce the risk. I don't really understand what you're arguing here. Amy shouldn't try to preserve her voice - her instrument, her money-maker, her reason for fame - because she's 'rock' and the show must go on? Amy improving her vocal technique seems like a positive situation for all involved.

Gotta agree with you on this one. If Amy took lessons or learned some kind of technique, it would be like buying insurance for your house -- she's put so much of her LIFE into it, that it only makes sense to try to protect it. Just like insurance, though, it can't guarantee anything, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Also, metalman -- great point. I've heard some things where she sounds so good, it's amazing to think that she produced the same lackluster performances I hear at other times. It's really damaging to the potential she has to become a really GREAT singer.

actually on other threads im the one always saying that she could be so much better with proper technique, i only used this line of fire because everyone is running the shit out of amy, when she has tried so hard and developed quite well without training.

She does need vocal training and when she does get it i have no doubt she will go down in history as a very memorable singer.

I just wish she would realise also, maybe she's to proud or she thinks that she will be fine without it? i think she might get a vocal coach after she's finished touring.

Why would you think that? She didn't get one after the Fallen tour. And why wait till she's done touring? She's running her voice into the dust now.

i heard rumors she had a vocal coach with her on the fallen tour. Also if my voice hurt like amy's probably does i would want to make sure im singing correctly.

But i think amy will want to improve and i think she has nearly reached 100% on her own merit without proper technique.

there is only so far talent can bring you so im hoping she will decide or someone will tell her.
