i just downloaded the song and god it sounds like amy. shes really the only person that can tel us if it is an ev/amy song. if youve heard amy sing "are you strong enough to be my man" (she sang it in an opera voice) on the mtv diary thing then you can see the voices are extremly simmilar. it is a possibility it is sang by amy but i doubt it.

This is the point, I'm thinking if its possible, let Amy know about this song, but I don't think if I post in the area 'Talk To The Band' I'll be listened...oh cruel doubt!

I talked to my friend on IEssence (brazilian forum), and we've minded that it can be a person trying to promote herself using Evanescence to do it...but this song is rarely found on the internet...just Amy can solve it!

Wow... this person does sound similar to Amy. I tried searching for you but came up with nothing, but now I really want to know who this song belongs to because I really like it either way. There has to be some place that knows or something...

It really does sound quite a lot like Amy. I searched Google, Yahoo and some others for random parts of the lyrics, but can't find anything at all.
I tried to listen to the song very carefully to figure out the lyrics, but as English isn't my first language there's some words I just couldn't figure out. This is what I have so far...

Evanescence or not, that's a pretty song.

I think too that it sounds like Amy, not just like, but Amy's voice has also changed within years.
But it does actually sound like someone else.. I don't know.
