There is no such thing as a "REAL" fan, and people need to stop using this word. Knowing more about a band does not make you a bigger fan. And being on EvBoard does not mean they have to agree with everything that goes on in the band or have to love every song.

Evanescence has gone through a lot of changes over the years, and all of the fans have different opinions and feeling about these changes. We are all here because we are fans of the music, past and/or present.

Criticizing the actions of band members or critiquing lyrics does not make you less of a fan. Claiming fellow EvBoard members shouldn't post, or questioning their loyalty to the band because they don't 100% agree with everything, is simply childish. No one has a right to claim they are a bigger fan that anyone else, and no one has the right to tell other EvBoarders to leave or not post in a thread because they disagree with what has been said.

So, please refrain from telling other member they do not belong or shouldn't post. If you feel that strongly about a post, report it or PM a mod and it will be looked into.

I can't believe how many times I've read that line already. And it's quite pointless if you ask me.

There is no such thing as a true fan/biggest fan... or whatever you want to call it.

I agree that WE, all as members should get along with everyone, and not judge, nor criticize eachother!!

Yes it is all about the music. Except it's about respecting each other, and realizing everyone has the right to an opinion.

But it's a problem more now than ever. Besides, if you were REAL fans you would check this thread for updates every minute with the hope Amy replies and makes all your childhood dreams come true.

well said a little respect goes a long way and one i thing i have noticed since ive been back is that the respect is missing.
we all have our own opinions here that was one of things that made evboard so great was that the differences were a given as was the respect for each other's differences. yes there have been some big changes but the lose of respect for each other shouldn't be one of them.
