Well, I guess I used the wrong wording. I have tried already to listen to an actual opera, and I can't last through it. Not that I can't appreciate the talent and sheer power it takes one to have a set of pipes to tackle the ranges that true opera has. I will give your recommendation a listen though (I always try to listen to any one that is thrown my way!

As for the ban stick, sorry.. been here 2 "old" months now, so I have no clues on the goings on prior to Feb. Must use search function at some point I guess!!

Speaking of being smacked, how smacked would I get if I added to my list Marilyn Manson...CAN'T STAND HIM!!

Eewww. I thought that song was left in good ol' 1999-2000. Boy was I wrong...

It seemed to chase Jessica Simpson's "I want to love you forever" all over pop top 40 / adult contemporary / soft-rock radio. Played 100 times a day. Jessica Simpson needs to be on the sh*tlist too.

i would like to add to the list of bad music some older artists i use to have to suffer through- rod stewaurt, jethro tull and kris kristofeson (sp?)

^ dad's music taste or some of it, it was torture in the car when he played those just once or twice but he has them dotted across compliation cds as well.
that said he has some good music taste- beatles are ok!

and more bad sky hooks and simon and garfunkle

DOUBLE GASP!! Those are two of my favorite songs! (Although the list of my favorite songs is probably 10,000 songs long so that's not saying a lot...)

Anyway, to get back on topic, I'm really sorry but I'm gonna have to say I HATE HEART. Really really hate 'em. With a burning passion. That woman's voice is like nails on a blackboard. Barracuda, the only song I even marginally enjoy, is enough to make me want to shoot myself by the third chorus. That's saying nothing of "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You" or "Crazy On You." Urrrhg hate it.
