i think what makes you old school needs to be cleared up- i thought from what was said it was people who had been around with their active account for more then 4 years, not people who had been voted in previously as PS.

And after finally working out what i was going to say and a discussion with some other members (people from a wide spectrum) i and they have not seen this Old school group stopping the exclussiveness that came with the PS forum. i know it is only early days but i have not seen any thing to hint at a more forum friendly approach- sure there is not private forum anymore, but there is still the element of exclussiveness. please note i am not pissing and bitching because it is a 4 year limit and i am begging to be let in for a larger av- IM NOT . It is just there are some people here who have put a hell of a lot of work into this place and some these people will not be acknowledged and then you have the others whose only contribution to the board is to show up once every blue moon and have been with their active account for 4 years. IDK there is just something there that doesn't seem all member/ forum friendly

please don't shoot me- i had to say something as it was begining to irk me and some others

The rules to becoming oldschool (as it stands right now) is having 4 years of board membership. Those that are oldschool and don't have 4 years in are because one, they were Paid Subscribers when we took the board over, or two...they were voted in by the PS members. It would not be right of me to remove them at this point.

River, no matter what...someone isn't going to like how this group is set up. I can't please everyone, I can only do what I feel is best for the entire board. Sure, I'll admit there are some folks in the group who barely show up now...but it's not my right nor yours to decide that they shouldn't be apart of that usergroup. I think what's best is to let those who are in it already, stay that way and going forward know that the qualifying rules to getting in is just 4 years of membership. Now that doesn't mean we won't change the rules later on...it's still up for discussion among the mods but for now...thats the rule

don't get me wrong i am not saying you should go through and judge who should be in or anything like that all, you are doing a good job in a situation that cannot be easy. all i am saying is some people have mentioned feeling a little undervalued.
