Best Video Game Console?

Well between my sister and I we have all the mentioned game consoles, except for the GameCube and Sega Genesis <---never heard of it actually. And we've got an ancient Atari.

Xbox is good, and the only thing that makes it better than PS2 is the multiplayer games.

But I still love my PS2. If Gran Turismo is released on Xbox I might change my mind.

Besides, the controllers for the Xbox are AWFUL!!!!

my favorite was Nintendo 64 because it had Zelda: ocarina of time, on it and that was my fave game

I think x box is amazing.. lol I have had it for about a year.. lol it is very addicting..

Both of those are on GBA along with Zelda: A Link to the Past....so I say it again GBA is the best system evar.

I'm partial to my PS2, only because of Buffy: Chaos Bleeds and Crash Bandicoot. I've got a couple Crash games for my PS1, but I'm not as nearly attached to that one.

Oh, and DUDE! Old school Genesis. I had Power Rangers for the game, man. Old fuckin' school. I also had a Sonic game, of which I lurved. I played that game until my fingers bled. :twisted:

I like WWE wrestling games, but I don't own any. My boyfriend has boxes full of them, some for consoles he doesn't even own.

Ok, old thread here. But ANYWAYS... Why bother with consoles? The PC is best, hands down! I know mine will tear any console apart with its overclocked Radeon 9700 pro. Too bad I've given up games for this semester, though. Final Fantasy XI really hurt my grades (and sleep) last semester,

Eh... while the PC almost always outdoes console when it comes to graphics and sound quality, what good does that do you when it rarely comes out with any decent games? With a few exceptions, most of the PC games I would want to play had already been available on console for months beforehand... x_x

But, again, I guess it's just a matter of taste.

Actually, the PC has quite a large selection of games. It has by far the best and most RPGs as well as FPShooters. Not to mention infinite modability... I have an Xbox, but haven't use it for anything except Soul Calibur 2 since I built my PC.

The Xbox is by far the best, I mean take a look at Halo for a start. And Halo 2, sure it may look better on PC, but on an Xbox does it need to be installed? And it totally owns the PS2 and Gamecube in terms of hardware. I'd like to see Sony or Nintendo get Morrowind on either of their systems.
