Board Games!

*I know I had a thread on this, but it must have been deleted or suffered the wipe, so here we go one more time...*

How many of you ever got hooked on board games? I grew up in a time when videogames were just little squares on the Atari 2600, and families played these after dinner or on rainy Saturdays.

My favorite was "Bonkers". The only game where you could switch the directions around and make it a different game everytime you played it. Here is an illustration of "Bonkers" which I found on the web: .
The edition I own, however, comes from the 1970's so it had a funky style. Maybe I'll bring it for next Evday party!!

But anywho, I also liked Chutes-and-ladders, Sorry!, Candy Land, and Checkers.

How about you? Bring back the board games!!

Oh man. I used to love board games...still do actually.

When I went over my Aunt's house, she still had some and it brought back memories.

Candy Land!

Anyone heard or played 13 Dead End Drive. This game is the shizit! I forgot how to play it though so we quit.

Gotta love Clue! It's even hotter when it was on Sega.

TROUBLE! I played this game religiously!

Nothing beats Monopoly.

Although, there was one time I was walking through a Toys R'Us and I was minding my own business when I look up and see one of the funniest games ever.

CNN : The Board Game

I have a feeling that it was a trivia game, but what the fuck would you win? An interview with Larry King or Bernard Shaw...I mean seriously

Monolopy is the game, too. I love the New York Edition.

Wtf? A CNN Game? lol That's funny. Maybe I'll take a walk in Toy R' Us or something to see what other stupid games they have.

Guess Who? was one of the better games. That and Trouble. But I always had issues with Trouble and the poppy-bubble-dice-rolly thing. I had to put my full weight on it to get it to go down. It just wasn't little-kid friendly.

How many other girls here had Mall Madness? I used to get excited over the credit cards. And did anyone else have trouble getting Mousetrap to work? It would always fall apart on me when it finally came time to set it off.

By the way...wtf is Manopoly, and where can I buy it?
