Game of Thrones, but considering that its about the same length as the three books of the Tolkein trilogy combined and more complex, I doubt it will happen.

Snow Crash, by Stephenson, OTOH...

I've been hearing about scripts being done for a movie version of Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I do indeed reallllllllllllly hope it's true.

Yea, they are making Cat in the hat.

I don't know about the HP movies though.

I love the books. But I after watching the movies I felt like it ruined everything for me. Everyone looked different then I had planned, and the school... I had my own idea of how big it was, but in the movie it seemed really small. Just that nothing was how I had pictured it, and in my mind it was so much more amazing.

So now I feel let down.

*smacks head* forgots bout that one!!! right on!!
Which one were you slapping your head over? Please accept my humblest apologies. I certainly didn't mean to induce bodily injury. :)

Just thought those two books would be pretty awesome flicks for completely different reasons.

No, it looks scary. I'm not watching it.

I'm rather upset that Chuck Palahnuick's Survivor got cancelled after 09.11.2001 The script was by Gwyneth Paltrow's brother, Kevin Spacey, Jim Carrey and some others were considering being in it, and Trent Reznor was going to score it. But no, we can't have a movie about a plane, that would be far too horrific...

How about a movie version of If Chins Could Kill: Confessions Of A B Movie Actory? Bruce Campbell's autobiography, starring...Bruce Campbell!

I'd really like to see Diamond Age... I think Snow Crash would just get ruined by Hollywood x.x

Also, I'd love to see someone do The Bacchae, by Euripides. I mean, it's got enough sex and violence to make any Hollywood director happy O.o;;

comic bk or bk? PM unless you wanna postwhore it :P~
Ok, more? What about Rising Stars? I believe they are already in the works on making that one a movie. That will be easily one of the best movies of all time if they do it right. I really hope J. Michael Strazynski(spelling?) is on set to keep them on the right path, or that he is the one that writes the script(which I believe he is). Just about anything by him would probably kick ass. For those not in the know he is easily one of the best comic book writers out there currently. He is the current Amazing Spiderman writer. He was also the creator/writer of Babylon 5.

Hmm...what else? Lets see, also Midnight Nation, another one of his books that was a finite series(had a beggining, middle and end preplanned before it was launched).

Hmm...Lady Death would be good, if they did the first series or maybe 2nd. The first was easily the best.

Fathom would be great as a movie. Battle Chasers or Danger Girl(also the first series). Powers would be pretty good. ooh, ooh, yes, the one..dammit, forgetting the title and too lazy to go dig it up. I think it is Beautiful Killer...or is it Beautiful Assassin? Maybe I'm wrong. It is the one that was only 3 issues. The girl that had the real pale skin and whose parents were killed so she went out to get revenge on the people that were responsible. Her parents were former spies that had to keep her existence hidden. I believe that they already had a production company buy the rights and it is rumored that Ashley Judd is thinking about taking up the part.

A Ghost Rider movie would be awesome if done right as well. There are actually so many comics that would make great movies. Maybe one day I will have to come up with a list. There have been a lot that are in beginning stages(script writing and casting and director choosing..etc.)
