The Elric saga has been optioned by Universal !!!

If you'd like to sample another great series by Mike Moorcock, look for the Jerry Cornelius books. Very funny stuff.

I'de like to see a Amelia Atwater-Rhodes movie.... I'd also like to see Dangerous Angels by Fracesca Lia Block... I loved those books.

Another vote for Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson.

Wizard and Glass - Stephen King - 4th of the Dark Tower series. A real Stephen King movie has not been made until they make one of these. Hail Roland of Gilead!!

Totally with you there 439. I love Stephenson's work and Dark Tower is screaming to be made a flick too

I'll throw in another vote for Snow Crash.

Remember how much the first 10 minutes of Blade kicked ass? The first part of Snow Crash (The Deliverator) would kick 100 times more!

They'd really have to get just the right people to play Hiro and YT, but it could be sooooooooooooooooo cool.

I'd really like to see The Old Kingdom Series (I don't know if that's what they're called.. but I call them that. You know, Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen) by Garth Nix turned into a movie, but I think they would find some way to butcher it. Another Garth Nix book I'd like to see be turned into a movie is Shade's Children. It seems like it would have a good script.

Or The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King. That is one of the best books ever, or at least to me. But, like The Old Kingdom Series, I like the book to much, so if a movie came out I'd find too many things wrong with the movie.

The frog and toad series should be remade using "Pixar" or some other digital animation. That would rock.

Oh, and for the more adult movie enthusiasts, "Deception Point," By Dan Brown would be cool as a movie, as well as "The Face" by Dean Koontz

Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell.

I heard it's already been made into a film, but it wasn't very good apparently.

Get Tim Burton on the job I say.
