Fweddie, you got all the questions right except the divide 30 by half one. Ryan - Yeah, I guess your equation with the nines would work. Good job, I've never thought of that or maybe I just worded it wrong. I feel stupid now.

Divide 30 by half and add 10 is still not solved correctly. Here's some more.

A woman gave a beggar 50 cents. The woman is the beggar's sister, but the beggar isn't the woman's brother. Why not? (this actually stumped people!)

You walk into the kitchen and find a ping pong in a glass bottle. The neck is big enough for the ping pong to fit through, but it's too small for your hand to fit through. Without breaking the bottle or tilting it so the ball will roll out, how would you get the ping pong out? (made this one up on the spot so I don't know if there are more than one answer or if it's told properly).

[Actually, they were both correct. The answer is 70. Multiply it by two - it's the same as dividing by half. In which case it's 60. Then add 10, and the answer is 70.]

[Because the beggar is a woman, and so she's the woman's sister...omg I can't believe I answered that. :)]

[30 halved is 15, add 10 is 25.]

[The beggar is the woman's sister.]

[Use a hoover to suck the ping pong ball out! Or... just fill up the bottle with water.]

I believe that's the trick answer that most THINK it's supposed to be. :)

By the way, the thing that "holds things up" in my riddle: a belt! It has holes in it and sometimes has metal or plastic on it.

Bleh. I hate plays on words. They're fun to make other people figure out though!

[You get the ping pong out with your finger - the whole hand doesn't fit, not the fingers]
