ChoirNerd_3293 is just really nice

I Love "Call me when you're Sober", it's the song that really got me into Evanescence. I heard songs like "Going Under", "My Immortal", and "Bring me to life" on the radio. But I heard "Call me when you're sober" on MTV. I was instantly drawn to it. Then I started getting into it, I wanted to buy the first album before I got "The Open Door" (at the time I didn't know the album was called "Fallen") but my sister (now dead) had the cd, I borrowed it. I listened to it, I was like "I know these songs", that's hat made me like LOVE Evanescence. So, "Call me when you're sober" is an awesome song for me!!!!!!!!!

I had been waiting for The Open Door since the day after the release date had been announced. I can remember being all too excited for the first single to be released, and when I heard it, I was instantly mesmerized. I had listened to Fallen and Anywhere But Home for three months straight (that's a LOT of Evanescence) and when the trailer on YouTube was released, I was so impressed that we hadn't heard anything close to Amy's full voice range in Fallen. And that was just a thirty second clip of Lacrymosa. When Call Me When You're Sober was released, I was UBER impressed even more-so at how much Amy's voice had matured in a matter of a few short years. I memorized the lyrics in under a day, and when I got the sheet music, I learned THAT in under a week. Soon I was playing and singing like no other, driving my family crazy. All in all, I was very impressed at how much better their music had gotten since Fallen.

It doesn't really sound all that different. Just more drum and bass. And some extra beats. She doesn't really have a voice for techno remixes, but it's a cool idea to try.

I kind of thought the same thing, I don't think any kind of techno versions
for Ev, does not really fit a rock band, and certinly doesn't fit Ev's style of
rock.
But I did think it was cool, like I said above, but just not their kind of songs.
