I agree it is stoopid, but there is a law in most countries about the legal age you are alowed to have sex.

I cant beleive u have neva heard of it, i looked on a website and it says canada's legal age is 14 so u guys have it good over there, here in australia the legal age 16 and that sucks. Hahaha i cant beleive u have neva heard of it hahaha

But still I know the uber old law in quebec that says we can't wear bermuda shorts on "Les plaines d'Abraham" (a public park in Quebec). hahaha This law has been voted like in the 18th century

You won't think it is "soooo stupid" when you are mature enough to understand the reason why (take in the first few chapters of "White Oleander" for example).

I' not saying that it's stupid in the way that it it doesn't make any sence. I meant that it does not have his reason to be. We'll never see a policeman entering the room of a teenager and arresting him: "Hey you're under arrest for having sex before 14 !"
The law itself is useless, not the moral behind it.

um..well, in BC there is no legal age to have sex...but there are protective laws so that older males or females aren't grooving with minors.
(but if you're 12 years old and you want to get it on then that's just fucking sick...)

anyway, in BC or Maybe all of Canada, when you're 14 you are legal to be married WITH parental consent of both sets of parents.
otherwise you're legal to marry at age 18
