DIY Guitar and vocal tracks from my band
http://www.myspace.com/bletter
We put up a track that's completely pretentious... it was deliberately just recorded through a computer mic that was on the floor of our practice warehouse, AND the singer had a cold. We figured it'd be fun to show people (our friends have seen studio tracks) a 'garage band' (read: crappy DIY) concept to things. Sadly, you can't hear half of the drum or guitar work - there's no bass because the mic would overload, and the vocals aren't exactly good. You can even hear the singer cough at the beginning of his little growl. Anyway... figured I'd show it off, it's cute. It's our oldest song... we wrote it all together like the first time we ever got together, and then just shut it away in a dark corner somewhere until recently, where we're gonna sling it for a few shows and figured people would 'relate' to a cutesy garage-style track. A funny Evanescence relation is that John and Rocky (and Mourningside) gave me the guitar that I used while we were doing our little 'garage band' style recordings that day. Oh yeah... and I'm not sure what's appropriate to put here. Does this count as advertising? Pah... I'm an Evboard old timer, I have no clue what the rule is anymore. ![]() Thanks, Kate |

Im not being smart but if you really wanna take the band thing seriously you guys should invest in some recording equipment! i get what your saying about it not being 'serious' but I can't really leave a comment cause it was so muffled, but your myspace page looks good!
