I'm sure a lot people have never seen, or even heard, of this movie.

I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't found it laying on the floor at the video store awhile back. I picked it up and, seeing that it stars Nicole Kidman and was displayed in the Sundance Film Festival (I am an independent movie lover, I am), decided to rent it.

In the beginning, I was like "WTF is going on??" Because it's rather...different. It's set completely as a stage play, which I've never seen done in this way in an actual movie. I felt really dumbfounded and a bit angry that I spent money on this.

But I decided to finish watching it anyway. I'm so glad I gave it that chance, because this is one of the few movies that took hold of my heart and will continue to do so forever.

For those who love movies with hidden messages/metaphors/subtle displays of insight, this is one. Not only that, but the emotional toll it took on me I can still feel, even though it's been a few months since I last watched it.

I've always been a fan of Nicole Kidman, but none of her performances have reached me in such a way as this one has.

I must say, I have seen this movie a couple of time.....

All I have to say, Nicole Kidman's performance, was absolutely Astounding,
and one I will never for get!!
I as well, was really emotional after watching this movie.
but I loved it.
I actually have it at home, My friend gave it to me as a gift.
