what game are you playing.. i am playing manhunt and doom 2( i am going to hell in a hand basket anyway)
I was playing Resident Evil. Manhunt is just too bad, even for me. I cant play that game. Doom 2 is fun- i play that maybe once a month, though. Manhunt is just too bad for me. I dont see it as a sin or ruining someone's mind- its just personally to me, I cant take it.

Morbid Angel will become famous soon enough
Ban Doom 3 because they got rid of Trent Reznor doing the music.

My mental stabilty went out the window when i started playing the resident evil games. At this point, theres no hope of stopping the slow degredation of my brain into a salty, mushy heap of demon laced jello.

wrf? Trent Reznor didn't do the music? I thought that was a done deal when I heard that the game was in development. Details anyone?

I figured it might have been due to NIN recording Bleedthrough. I didn't expect that answer lol.

How many people's systems are going to be so good that it matters anyway? ATI and Nvidia will both run high end games with great results. I'm thinking the GF FX 5700 Ultra I have will make Doom 3 plenty entertaining.
Something tells me you're right lol. If you remember back to 2 years ago at E3, Doom 3 was running on ATI technology. Then, after the alpha demo's leak onto the net, id Software abruptly and mysteriously switched allegiances.

Aw man. This is the first I've heard of this. I was really looking forward to his "soundtrack." They hyped it up to be so uber-creepy and all.

Yeah I totally forgot about that... I remember them getting in a big tiff over it because they were saying that ATI was responsible for the leak. Yeah I would switch allegiances too after that. I've always liked Nvidia better though. Works in my favor this time

Eh, Trent was mistaken. The theme song wasn't done by Tool but by Chris Vrenna and Clint Walsh. Chris Vrenna was the founding member of Nine Inch Nails but left the band in 1996. He also the "composing" for the Doom 3 "soundtrack." From what I hear, it's going to be creepy, ambient stuff. As for the theme song, it sounds really Tool-like. Here's a short clip of it: http://www.doom3.com/flash/downloads/D3themesong.zip
