Working on a new song...but the lyrics....eh...
It's for a friend, like all my songs are.

I use the chords C maj, and Am mostly...and use a little Em as well.

My lyrics are not easy to judge by just reading them. If you do, they don't keep in poetic time. But I just sustain certain words to make it feel like it flows "poetically". I'm not a poet. I'm barely a songwriter.

I wrote this song a few weeks ago...and I'm aware that it's incredibly cheesy. The melody makes it bearable, but still...
I tend to write songs based on conversations had with friends, about really lame and girly things. I'm totally using this thread as my lyrics database, since they're usually just written on random scraps of paper.

Thank you! I love harmony too...It's the most frustrating thing for me not to be able to figure out harmony for a part of a song.

I really like your style and lyrics are you pursuing a recording deal.you have a unique style and your music is original,also the vocals are excellent.

Thank you so much!! I'd love to get a record deal, but I don't think I'm "developed" enough to be seriously considered. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll pursue it, but I'm too chicken, haha.

Anyways, new song...wrote it yesterday. I don't know if I'm finished yet...I'd like another verse maybe.
